Captain Rick took us straight to the fish and kept us on them throughout the entire trip. We had a fish on the line almost the whole time we were out there. It was an amazing fishing experience!

Rick is a phenomenal fishing guide! He had everything prepared, helped us land our catches, and made the entire trip memorable. Our group included six people ranging in age from 10 to 62, and the fishing excursion was perfect for everyone. We caught everything from a shark to Spanish mackerel and even brought home fresh fish for dinner. We highly recommend Rick and would gladly book another trip with Alabama Girl Fishing!

Three of us went fishing for Spanish mackerel and king mackerel, reeling in six fish and keeping four. We had a great time, then went back to the house and cooked our fresh catch. Captain Rick even gave us some shrimp to take home. He was an excellent captain, and we highly recommend Alabama Girl Fishing!

The fishing started off strong, slowed down for a while, and then picked back up toward the end, finishing on a good note. I’m not completely sure, but I think the time of day may have played a role. Back home in northern Wisconsin, we usually see the best fishing action in the early morning and evening hours.

Had a great trip with Captain Rick. Took us all over the place but had a hard time with all of the weather conditions. We caught a spotted trout pretty much right out on the bay, we went out by several of the oil rigs and also had a nice visit over to the light house on sand island. The wind and choppy water just had it out for us. GWe did have several big fish fighting us and snapped a few lines. Capt. got us back in and cleaned up our catch! Had a great time on the adventure and Capt. was great with us for not fishing often! Highly recommend and will definitely come back and try when we have better weather.

We booked literally last minute and it was solely based off of the reviews I read so I wanted to leave him a good review... captain Rick was amazing he got us on fish and took the time to walk us through the reason behind anything we asked about truly a great job we are planning on coming back next year to do another trip with him.... Completely worth doing charters with him, he’s done his homework on how, when, and where to catch fish. My wife and I both agree that it was a 10/10 experience.

We booked a four-hour morning trip, and all five of us limited out on red snapper within the first 30 minutes. After that, we spent the rest of the trip catching mackerel and even started releasing fish once we had plenty to enjoy for lunch. We had our fresh catch cooked the same day at Sassy Bass in Fort Morgan, and it was excellent. Captain Rick clearly loves what he does, and his passion made the whole experience even better. I would highly recommend booking a trip with him.
